It is likely to get warm while we are dancing so wear clothes that are airy and also comfortable to move in. Choose comfortable shoes without heels, less grip is better than more.

Monday 16 August - The Wedding Day

13:30 - Arrive at Fort Bij Rijnauwen

14:00 - Wedding Ceremony

14:30 - Toasts

14:45 - Drinks and snacks

17:00 - Travel to Het Oude Tolhuys

19:00 - BBQ Dinner

00:00 - End

Our ceremony will take place outside, come rain or shine we will get married. Timings here are an estimate and we may be flexible with the order of events so we can choose the best moment to say ‘I do’.

We don’t have an official dress code for the day, what is most important is that everyone is comfortable. If you’re looking for some guidance on what to wear, consider garden party attire.

We plan to walk together through Amelisweerd from Fort Bij Rijnauwen to Het Oude Tolhuys, the distance is under a mile and is a beautiful walk on a flat, even surface. You are also welcome to make your own plan to travel between the venues by bike or car. Please let us know if you will need any assistance in moving between these venues.
